Manchester United have now provided a new update about Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury, MySportDab reports.

Ronaldo has now returned back to training with the squad ahead of United’s next match against Everton.

The Portuguese star missed United’s 1-1 draw over the weekend due to illness.

But, in a new boost for United, Ronaldo is now back in full training ahead of the Everton game at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Last week Friday, Ronaldo pulled out of training due to illness, and Coach Ralf Rangnick was forced to make some changes.

United’s club doctor visited Ronaldo’s home on Saturday to check on his condition but he could not make it.

However, he returned to Carrington today with high spirits, and now looks ready to play this weekend with United desperate for points.

United’s hopes of finishing in the top-four reduced after the draw against Leicester, but Arsenal’s loss at Crystal Palace on Monday is some good sign.

Manchester United have also named Ronaldo as the club’s player of the month award for March.

Speaking after winning the award, Ronaldo said: “Thank you for the votes. I am very happy and motivated to continue the right for the rest of the season.

“I will do my best like as always so thank you to all of them and see you all soon at Old.”

Ronaldo is now determined to repeat his good form to help United qualify for the Champions League.
