Andrew Robertson and Divork Origi scored as Liverpool beat Everton 2-0 to condemn them to relegation, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the match between both sides was a closely matched one from the kickoff as they gave it all their best but nothing happened.

Liverpool was the side who started well in the early stages but they couldn’t put in all their good opportunity to use as things continued with their opponent ensuring nothing went past them.

Everton was decent enough with their defending which ensured they clear their line as the game progressed despite them not having much to offer going forward in the match.

The encounter carried on with both teams doing more of creating opportunities but nothing still was able to happen as it was looking evenly balanced.

The first half concluded with Liverpool 0-0 Everton as they both went inside unable to make anything count going forward in attacking mostly for the home side.

Second Half Report

The second half changed everything for both teams who couldn’t enjoy the luxury of keeping it clean at the back as the match opened up.

Everton continued with their impressive defending which could only last until the 62nd minute of the game which saw Andrew Robertson making it 1-0 from a header.

Liverpool was more balanced after scoring the opening goal of the game which saw them pushing forward in numbers ensuring they get more against their opponent who was so down on the pitch.

Liverpool Vs Everton

Divock Origi added another one in the 85th minute after a good delivery from Luis Diaz which saw the Belgian International make it count 2-0 as it was looking very good.

That goal sealed the win for Liverpool who was able to narrow the point on top of the table to one behind Manchester City after beating Everton 2-0 at Anfield.
