Chelsea Coach Thomas Tuchel has now confirmed his decision on leaving or staying at the club, MySportDab reports.
Tuchel has confirmed that he will remain the Chelsea Coach until the end of the season.
Chelsea director Petr Cech could not give fans a good answer when asked if the Blues can play until the end of the season.
Tuchel’s future has been in doubt for some days now following the impacts of the UK Government sanctions on owner Roman Abramovich.
Last week, According to reports, Manchester United were closely monitoring the situation at Chelsea as they plan to appoint a new manager.
When asked about if he will finish the season at Chelsea, Tuchel replied:
‘Will I stay till the end of the season? Yes. There is no doubt about that. Absolutely.’
Tuchel’s confirmation comes after the clubs technical advisor Peter Cech failed to guarantee that the club could finish the season due to the financial impacts of the sanctions.
‘We just have to keep on fighting day by day as I said before, and it’s not in our hands. There are talks ongoing so that we can play and finish the season.
‘Yes, it’s a very difficult situation and we’re playing in one of the best football leagues in the world, The English Premier League.
‘I believe that if we can finish the season, it would help everybody in the Premier League.’
Despite being allowed to play for now, Chelsea have been banned from signing new players or selling.
