PSG Coach Mauricio Pochettino has now given a new update about his future at the French club, MySportDab reports.
Pochettino has admitted that he doesn’t know if he will be sacked by Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
The Argentine is still in the race to become Manchester United’s next manager.
It is now a close battle between Pochettino and Ajax Coach Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag is currently United’s preferred candidate to get the job from next season.
MySportDab understands that PSG will sack Pochettino due to their early exit in the Champions League to Real Madrid this season.
Despite having a 2-0 lead in the last-16 tie with just 30 minutes to go, the French side still lost 3-2 thanks to a Karim Benzema hat-trick.
Speaking about his future now, Pochettino has admitted he doesn’t know what will happen.
However, he still wants the chance to correct his mistakes at PSG next season.
“We are a very competitive club. This is definitely an exciting challenge for anyone. To fight for this Champions League is exciting,” Pochettino said.
“To help PSG fulfil their objectives is always a great challenge.
“We will have to have a talk with the club to discuss and find the best way forward. To work together on the vision, the ideas, and the project.”
Regarding his future, Pochettino added: “We will see at the end of the season. There is no certainty that i will stay. The club will decide.”
