Ghana held Nigeria to a goalless 0-0 draw at the Kumasi Stadium for the first leg of the qualifiers for World Cup, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both Nations started the first half with so much pace coming from both ends as they looked sharp in attack.
The tempo of the game didn’t last long being fast as Nigeria slower things down trying to balance themselves as they pushed forward hoping to score.
The Ghana National who wasn’t bad themselves with how they did pressurize their opponent into forcing them to make a mistake that didn’t happen.
More opportunities kept coming but nothing happened as they both continue fighting to get the opening goal.
The home side could have easily scored in the match, although the strike was beautifully saved by goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

The second half was good between both teams who had more opportunities going forward but still good play resulting in nothing.
Ghana looked comfortable at the back but going forward wasn’t good enough as they struggle to make a goal happen with so much for them.
The away side Nigeria continue pressing forward as the match progressed with so much happening with players being injured and forced substitutions.
The match was looking good for both teams who had so much to play for and at the same time stayed alert on their defending which was key.
A penalty was awarded by the referee in the 70th-minute plus, but after consultation with VAR, it was canceled due to Kelechi Iheanacho’s involvement.
The match ended with nothing happening as Ghana Vs Nigeria settled for a 0-0 result after 90 minutes of football played between them.
