Arsenal is working on making a move for Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo ahead of next season, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners could have made things deal happened in January, but nothing worked out after talks collapsed.

The player has also been placed as surplus to requirements by the Serie A side who will be planning on offloading him.

Juventus were willing to accept a deal during the January window that could have seen an 18-month loan take place with an option to make it permanent.

Although the Gunners were not happy with the decision which led to the talks collapsing and nothing was discussed further.

Now they will be looking to revive interest which could see them land a move for Arthur Melo on a permanent deal.

Mikel Arteta is already looking to build the team if they will be playing in the Champions League next season as things are going well as of now.
