Manchester United player Mason Greenwood has now added extra increased security measures at his mansion, MySportDab reports.

This happened after he was released on bail by Greater Manchester Police on Wednesday.

Last week Sunday, The 20-year-old got arrested for alleged rape and assault.

He was in police custody for at least three nights before being released.

On Tuesday, The Police announced that Greenwood was now facing more charges of threats to kill and sexual assault.

Police will continue their investigation despite releasing the England youngster on bail.

Greenwood’s current location remains unknown as of today.

However, MySportDab can confirm that he has increased security measures at his mansion in Bowdon, Greater Manchester.

According to The Sun, two security guards have been added for security at the house.

Also, a CCTV expert arrived at the home to install a new security set-up.

Greenwood can’t train or player matches until further notice.

In a new statement, Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the victim of assault is receiving the best support.

Reports suggest that Manchester United have provided security security to a home, where his parents currently live.

“We have seen the images and allegations now on social media,” a Manchester United statement  read.

“We won’t make any further comment until the truth is revealed by the Police. Manchester United will never support violence of any kind.”

Greenwood’s products has also been taken down from United’s official website.

His sponsor Nike have also suspended his endorsement deal until further notice.
