Barcelona President have confirmed again that Ousmane Dembele have an agreement with an unknown club, MySportDab reports.
The player who has been asked to leave the club failed to reach an agreement that could have saw him make a move during transfer deadline to Chelsea.
Although it was reported Chelsea never opened talks while Barcelona President confirmed negotiations were going on with a Premier League side which was not Tottenham.
Ousmane Dembele still remain a Barcelona player as no club could sign him during the just concluded January transfer window last night.
Reports also making headlines today suggested that the club will be looking to terminate his contract since he has been asked to look for a move elsewhere in January which is already gone.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest developments which saw Joan Laporta confirming a possible agreement already reach with another club.
Here Is What He Said:
“We think Ousmane Dembélé has an agreement in place with another club”.
“He didn’t want to leave the club in January.
“It’s really difficult to understand his position, makes no sense for him and for the club”.
This could also mean that a move is 100 percent sure of happening anytime soon with player not willing to extend his contract.
The only way out is for Barcelona to terminate his contract which could see him still be able to make a move elsewhere despite the window being shut down.
Barca are also not looking to give him a chance to return to the team as things stand for now without him leaving.
Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are all the side who are currently being linked with a move for the France International when he drops to free agent.
Ousmane Dembele contract comes to an end in June 2022 which will see him be able to leave for free to any club of his choice.
