Barcelona are still in contact with AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie agents concerning a move, MySportDab reports.

Nothing has been agreed upon yet with the club and Franck Kessie who is now a hot target for Barcelona under new manager Xavi Hernandez.

Franck Kessie

The laliga side are not the only club showing interests as others from Europe are equally in the race hoping he drops to free agent.

Franco Kessie contracts is on the final months which could see him drop into the free agency knowing he has until June 2022 on his current deal with Milan.

This hasn’t been a good one for the club who value the player as their biggest asset just like Theo Hernandez who already reached an agreement and signed to extend.

The Ivory Coast International is yet to make a decision on his future with Barcelona still clear favorites to land a move if nothing happens with AC Milan.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest developments coming from the camp of the player which claimed contact with Barcelona are still strong since December.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Franck Kessié has still no full agreement with any club.

“Barcelona are in contact with his agent since December, they are waiting for him – Kessié has not made his final choice yet.

“Race still open, other clubs also interested.

“His AC Milan deal runs out in June 2022.

This is not a good position the club wants to be in for now knowing how that went for them last season which saw their goalkeeper end up leaving.

AC Milan will continue to hope Franck Kessie changes his mind about signing a new contract which could be a lot better if he decides to stay and not join Barcelona.
