Arsenal are considering a move for former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata ahead of summer window, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners are looking to bring in a striker next season after seeing Aubamyang made a move to Barcelona during the January window.

Alvaro Morata who struggled during his time with Chelsea is now being targeted by Arsenal who are looking to sign him ahead of next season.

Alvaro Morata

The Spain striker is currently on loan with Juventus from Atletico Madrid until end of the season which will see him return back to his parent club.

Barcelona almost completed a move during the January window, but everything collapsed with Juve failed to let him leave as they were waiting to sign a striker first.

Unfortunately, Barca had to look elsewhere with them reaching an agreement with Aubameyang which saw him taking a pay cut to complete the move.

Currently, Arsenal are the only side after Alvaro Morata which could possibly happen as Atletico Madrid won’t be looking to keep him due to their financial troubles this season.

Nothing has been confirmed yet if the move will be happening when the summer window open in June 2022, but something is cooking up already.

According to Transfer News Live, they made the latest development known with Arsenal keen on making the move happen soon.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Arsenal are still interested in signing striker Álvaro Morata – who is on loan at Juventus from Atlético Madrid.

The Gunners also have their sight on AC Milan striker Rafael Leao who is also being considered as a possible target with them looking to replace Aubameyang who scored a hat trick yesterday.

No official statement from Arsenal about their interest in Alvaro Morata as they continue to monitor more players with them sure of making something happen in the summer window coming up.
