She immigrated to the United States in 2009 and went on to build a successful career in luxury real estate in Los Angeles while maintaining a deliberately private life alongside one of the NFL’s most prominent coaches.

She and Sean met more than a decade before their 2022 wedding, when he was an assistant coach, and she was still a university student.

Since then, they have built a family together, while Veronika has also become a visible and outspoken advocate for her home country.

Veronika Khomyn Biography

Veronika Khomyn

She was born on March 1, 1990, in Ukraine. She immigrated to the United States in 2009, eventually settling in Virginia, where she attended George Mason University in Fairfax.

Veronika Khomyn earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from George Mason before completing a master’s degree in global management at Arizona State University, giving her a strong academic foundation long before her public profile grew through her marriage.

Veronika has generally kept details about her family and early life in Ukraine private and has not publicly disclosed extensive information about her parents or siblings.

What she has shared openly is her pride in her Ukrainian heritage, which has become an increasingly visible part of her public identity in recent years.

Sean McVay’s Wife

Sean McVay wife

Veronika Khomyn and Sean McVay first met sometime between 2011 and 2013. McVay was serving as an assistant coach, Washington franchise’s tight ends coach at the time.

Their relationship developed gradually over the following years as McVay’s coaching career continued to rise.

In June 2019, while vacationing together in France, McVay proposed to Veronika with an engagement ring reportedly worth approximately $100,000.

Veronika shared the news on Instagram, writing that the man of her dreams, her best friend, and the love of her life had asked her to marry him, and that she had happily said yes.

In March 2022, just months before their wedding, Sean and Veronika appeared together on stage at the Critics’ Choice Awards, where they spoke publicly about the war in Ukraine.

Sean introduced the topic by referencing Veronika’s homeland, and Veronika expressed her support for the Ukrainian people, saying she proudly stood with her fellow Ukrainians and admired their strength.

She described their resilience as inspiring and offered prayers for everyone affected by the conflict.

Sean and Veronika got married on June 4, 2022, in an outdoor ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

The wedding came during a milestone year for McVay, who had led the Rams to victory in Super Bowl LVI just a few months earlier.

The couple have two sons together. Their first son, Jordan John McVay, was born on October 24, 2023. His middle name honors Sean’s late grandfather, John McVay, a longtime San Francisco 49ers executive.

Sean has described the tribute as especially meaningful because Jordan was born close to the anniversary of his grandfather’s passing. Their second son, Christian Alexander McVay, was born in December 2025.

Since becoming a mother, Veronika has maintained a low public profile and has made only occasional public appearances.

She was notably seen on the sideline during the Rams’ NFC Championship Game in January 2026, her first major public appearance since Christian’s birth, as she supported Sean while the Rams faced the Seattle Seahawks.

Career

Veronika Khomyn Career

Veronika Khomyn works as a licensed luxury real estate and relocation specialist in Los Angeles with The Agency, a prominent real estate brokerage known for handling high-end property sales.

She has built a successful professional career independent of her marriage, and earlier reports describing her primarily as a model or fashion designer no longer reflect her established profession.

Her academic background in international business and global management aligns closely with the relocation and luxury real estate work she does today.

Her husband, Sean McVay, played quarterback and defensive back in high school before attending Miami University in Ohio, where he played wide receiver and graduated in 2008.

He began his coaching career shortly afterward, working with the Washington franchise from 2008 to 2016 in several assistant coaching roles before becoming one of the NFL’s brightest young coaching prospects.

In 2017, McVay was hired as head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, becoming the youngest head coach in the modern NFL at just 30 years old.

He immediately transformed the franchise, turning one of the league’s lowest-scoring offenses into one of its highest-scoring units and leading the Rams to their first NFC West title in more than a decade and their first playoff appearance since 2004.

He guided the team to Super Bowl LIII in his second season and later won Super Bowl LVI in February 2022. Now, he continues to serve as the Rams’ head coach.

She has an estimated net worth of $1 million. Veronika Khomyn’s established career in luxury real estate in one of the country’s most expensive property markets provides a substantial independent income.

Meanwhile, Sean McVay’s net worth is estimated to exceed $20 million. His wealth has been built through NFL coaching contracts, including a lucrative extension signed after the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory, as well as endorsement opportunities and broadcasting-related ventures that have accompanied his status as one of the league’s most successful head coaches.
