Sophia Phalen Bertolami is an American nurse, model, and entrepreneur best known publicly as the former girlfriend of professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau.

She was born on December 11, 1991, and raised in Massachusetts. Her parents are John Bertolami and Meg Bertolami.
Her father served as CEO of the Boston Pharmacy Management Center after studying pharmacy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
At the same time, her mother pursued a career in healthcare, earning a nursing degree from Vanderbilt University in 1979.
Sophia Phalen Bertolami’s own path into healthcare reflects her family’s background. She graduated from Chapman University in Orange, California, in 2014 with a degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition.
She later studied pharmacology while attending nursing school at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

During their relationship, Sophia occasionally shared supportive messages about DeChambeau on social media, including a congratulatory post following his victory at the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot, one of the most public acknowledgments of their relationship.
