He’s made just nine league appearances and no starts this year for the Red Devils who are struggling to get results under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Jesse Lingard went on loan last season to West Ham United where he discovered his form before returning back to Old Trafford.

He has then been tipped to make a move elsewhere which saw he Hammers making an approach during last summer window which was turned down.

The player decided to stay with the club who gave him assurance of playing time which they have failed to keep despite how much he has proven to be good.

Newcastle United were close to signing him but the deal has now collapsed with nothing happening between both clubs who failed to reach an agreement.
