Barcelona are already eyeing former Chelsea player Oscar after allowing Philippe Coutinho leave, MySportDab reports.

The Laliga side who have so much problem is with finance are looking to sign players who will take pay cut to enable them rebuild.

Barcelona want former Chelsea man Oscar who they want as Philippe Coutinho replacement this January window.

The Brazilian was earlier rumored to be nearing a return back to the Enlish Premier League with Chelsea, but that won’t be happening.

Xavi Hernandez is looking at the possibility of luring the player to New Camp which might prove very difficult for them to handle.

Oscar currently have a huge wage attached to his contract with his current club Shanghai SIPG who might not be willing to allow him leave.

Catalans’ financial situation will make talks with Shanghai SIPG difficult as they might not be able to afford paying him.

Although, that is not stopping them as they are hoping to strike a deal in any way possible for the Brazilian.

Barcelona have made an approach to sign former Chelsea star Oscar from Shangai SIPG, according to reports reaching us from TNT Sports Brasil.

However, they are said to be uncertain about whether they can afford the Brazilian midfielder after needing to restructure contracts to register newcomer Ferran Torres.

Paying his wages is the big question as they clearly knows his salary with his Chinese club isn’t a joke knowing where they stand at this point.

Barcelona have been struggling with money problems which resulted in Lionel Messi leaving for Paris Saint Germain for free during the summer transfer window.

Oscar

Oscar currently earn €563k weekly playing for Shangai SIPG which is an increase to his previous salary after which he signed an extension until 2024.

The fee is clearly something Barcelona can’t afford to pay Oscar but they are looking to make a deal happen in any way possible.
