Sevilla are now willing to discus Chelsea offer for their defender Jules Kounde ahead of the January window, MySportDab reports.

Both clubs failed to reach an agreement during the summer transfer window which left the deal abandoned.

The laliga side are now ready to open talks with Chelsea for Jules Kounde when the January window opens for business.

The Blues are looking at the possibility of losing all their defenders this season except Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr.

Contract talks with their defenders are not going well mostly with Antonio Rudiger who want salary increment before signing.

Andreas Christensen is nearing an agreement which could also be dealt with a blow if another club gets to offer him a better deal in January.

The long-running transfer saga could be nearing a conclusion between the Premier League side and Laliga for France International.

Sevilla are willing to lower their €80 million valuation of Jules Kounde and negotiate with Chelsea, according to reports reaching us from ESPN.

Chelsea face a defensive crisis, with Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta all out of contract in the summer.

This means their chase for long-term target Jules Kounde is intensifying more and more as they need to start planning for backup plans ahead of time.

A move collapsed in the summer, but Sevilla are now reported to be willing to sell for €50m to €60m rather than hold out for his full release clause.

It is now left for the Blues to come and make their offer on the table as other clubs are also eyeing a move for the defender.

Manchester United might be considering making their attempt to sign the player who could add more firepower to Ralf Rangnick squad.

Jules Kounde to Chelsea still looks very possible with Sevilla now open to listening to any offer lower than their asking price.
