Italy national team coach Roberto Mancini has made it clear about interest in joining Manchester United next season, MySportDab reports.

The former Manchester City manager has been seen as the perfect man to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their permanent boss next season.

Manchester United recently appointed Ralf Rangnick to take over things until end of the season as Roberto Mancini is being linked to replacing him.

It been so much news concerning who will be appointed once Rangnick contract comes to an end after the current 2021-22 campaign.

The Azurri coach has been named alongside other top managers to take over the job on permanent basis when the time comes.

Former Real Madrid manager Zinedane Zidane is amongst the list which include PSG Man Mauricio Pochettino and Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers.

Roberto Mancini still remains the number one touted for the job after latest updates confirmed him as the favorite.

The Old Trafford club are still yet to confirm who will be taking over as they are currently focused on helping Ralf Rangnick make things right.

Manchester United-linked head coach Roberto Mancini has denied having a “verbal agreement” in place to return to the English Premier League.

The Italy boss, who managed Manchester City between 2009 and 2013, insists he remains fully committed to his role with the Italy national team.

“My only goal is to get to the World Cup and be able to win it.”

Italy are currently in a situation where they could find themselves missing out on 2022 World Cup which will be going down in Qatar.

This has also spread speculations that he might be getting sacked failing to get the job done by making it to the World Cup after winning Euro 2020.
