Divock Origi scored a late goal as Liverpool beat Wolves 0-1 to move top of the English Premier League table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
First half of the encounter wasn’t that bad from both ends but the 45 minutes didn’t come through with any goal despite all the amount of opportunities.
Wolves didn’t have much of the chances as they were pressured all through which they managed to hold their ground and keep their opponent from scoring any goal.
It was Liverpool who dominated things as Mohamed Salah had a chance of scoring but he fail in what could have made it count after an amazing push forward from them.
Things looked evenly balanced between both teams who had so much work to do in the encounter which looked challenging for both teams regardless of who was dominating.
The first half of the encounter ended with Wolves 0-0 Chelsea as they both headed inside for the break after a good 45 minutes which didn’t bring anything to celebrate about.
Second Half Report
The second half started in same pace it left off in the first half which was the Reds dominating their opponent who had less say as they defend for their lives.
Wolves continued making sure their defending was perfect as the game progressed further without them conceding anything.
Liverpool became frustrated as all their attempts on goal was unable to give them the result they were looking for with them approaching the 60th minute and counting.
Nothing to separate them still except more wasted opportunities which wasn’t looking good for the Reds who need just one goal to ensure they move top of the table.
The goal finally came in the 90th minute plus added time as Divock Origi scored a stunner after teaming up with Mohamed Salah who provided the assist to make it 0-1.
The match came to an end with Liverpool getting the job done with a 0-1 result against Wolves as they move top of the Premier League table.
