Tottenham suffered a horrific 3-1 defeat against Leeds United in the Premier League as Patrick Bamford scored, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was entertaining with both teams finding the back of the net with the home side getting more.
Leeds United took the lead as early as in the 13th minute which saw Stuart Dallas reacting first to a loose ball to make it 1-0 for his side.
Heung Min Son made things 1-1 in the 25th minute of the match with a beautiful finish which he was assisted by Dele Alli for the goal.
Patrick Bamford’s strike in the 42nd minute ensured his side took the lead 2-1 which was a result of good teamwork efforts.
The first half finally came to an end with Leeds United 2-1 Tottenham as they both headed for the break with the advantage over the home side.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that bad from the two sides who started brightly with more opportunities being created in the early stages.
Tottenham was unable to claim much of the ball possession as they were kept silent by their opponent who dominated play going forward.
Leeds United was solid and made sure nothing got past them as they continue to push forward and at the same time making sure they don’t concede.
Rodrigo extended the lead to 3-1 in the 84th minute of the game after an excellent buildup play saw the forward making it count.
The match finally came to an end with Leeds United 3-1 Tottenham which saw the home side claimed the need three points in the end.
