Heung Min Son scored as Tottenham beat Brentford 2-0 in the English Premier League in a not so easy encounter for Spurs, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a good first half coming from both London clubs who gave a good account of themselves going forward with one goal scored between them.
Brentford was good enough to hold things down in their defense as they made sure nothing went past them despite all the pressure thrown at them by their opponent.
A 12th minute own-goal from Sergi Canos gave Tottenham the lead 1-0 after an error forced the player to put the ball inside their own net after starting the game well.
The game progressed with both teams pushing against each other as more opportunities continue to come through from both ends of the pitch which no goal was scored.
It was looking evenly balanced as they approached the final few minutes left in the first half which the scoreline remained the same while they made more chances.
The first half came to an end with Tottenham 1-0 Brentford as they both headed inside for the break with a slim advantage to Spurs.
Second Half Report
The second half started well coming from both ends which more early opportunities coming through but nothing to change the situation at hand between them both.
Tottenham continued looking good as they did everything possible to maintain their lead which stood firm as they also push forward fighting for more to seal the win.
It was all hard work for the newly-promoted side Brentford who continued doubling their efforts with more opportunities coming their way but their finishing was very bad.
Heung Min Son doubled the lead for Spurs in the 65th minute of the second half after a good buildup from play saw Sergio Reguilon setting up the assist to make it 2-0.
The match progressed into the final few minutes with Tottenham ending the match winning 2-0 against Brentford as they claimed all three points at home.
