Diogo Jota alongside Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander Arnold scored as Liverpool beat Newcastle United 3-1, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams had a fair enough amount of opportunities in the first half of the encounter which they made it count going forward on goal.

Former Liverpool player Jonjo Shelvey gave the visitors the lead in the 7th minutes of the match which saw him finishing off neatly against his ex club to make the scoreline 0-1.

Newcastle United were able to hold on until the 21st minutes which saw Diogo Jota scoring to make the scoreline 1-1 from an outstanding teamwork effort which resulted in something good.

Mohamed Salah scored in the 25th minute of the encounter to make things 2-1 for the Reds who dominated the match as it progressed with them finally taking the advantage.

The game carried on with so many more coming from both ends as they continue to create more opportunities going forward but nothing to change the scoreline.

The first half ended with Liverpool taking a 2-1 advantage into the break against Newcastle United who were very poor after taking the lead which was short lived.

Second Half Report

The second half didn’t provide to many talking points as they were few opportunities creating from both end with so much poor finishing.

It was looking more organized by Liverpool who continued to fins every other way to make sure they kill off the game against their opponent who were not looking to calm down.

Newcastle United were doing a bit better than they were in the first half which saw them scoring but ending up conceding two quick goals which was bad.

Trent Alexander Arnold wrapped things off with a stunning scored in the 87th minute of the second half which saw things going 3-1.

The match ended with Liverpool sealing a good 3-1 victory against Newcastle United to remain second in the English Premier League.
