Ademola Lookman scored the only goal for Leicester City as they beat Liverpool 1-0 with Mohamed Salah losing a penalty, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A good first-half from both teams who had so much work to do going forward in attacking and also some good defensive display.
Liverpool started the game as the better side which saw them dominating things as they created numerous amount of opportunities which didn’t count immediately for them.
Mohamed Salah had the opportunity of handing his side the lead in the 16th, but he wasn’t able to make it count from the penalty spot after seeing his effort saved by the Foxes goalkeeper.
Leicester City had so much to cope with as the pressure was all on them against a side who had Mohamed Salah running rugged trying to find a breakthrough.
The first half carried on with nothing coming from both end except some wasted opportunities which failed to result into anything good as both defense were solid.
No goal as the first half ended with Leicester City 0-0 Liverpool as they both went inside for the break with a goalless scored after a hard fought 45 minutes at King Power Stadium.
Second Half Report
The second half resumed with both teams still finding a way to get the breakthrough as some early opportunities were seen coming from both of the clubs on the pitch.
Leicester City pushed harder as the match progressed with them hoping to get something that might see them close thing up and defend until the end of 90 minutes which didn’t happen immediately.
Ademola Lookman gave Liverpool a shock after scoring a stunner in the 59th minute giving his side the 1-0 advantage.
The goal came after an amazing teamwork effort saw Dewsbury-Hall setting up the assist which lead to the finish from the Nigerian.
The encounter carried on and came to an end with Leicester City taking a 1-0 win against Liverpool after 90 minutes of football at the King Power Stadium.
