Barcelona have completed the signing of Manchester City winger Ferran Torres who have completed his medicals, MySportDab reports.
The Spain International has been linked with a long time move away from Premier League after just joining Manchester City from Valencia not long ago.
Ferran Torres has now sealed his return back to Spain with Barcelona for a transfer fee of €55 million plus €10M in add ons making a total of €65M.
The player signed a five years contract which will keep him with the club until 2027 with a release clause of 1B attached to his deal.
This move has been a long one coming as forward playing time was cut short despite being one of their outstanding performer which lead to him being unhappy.
Barcelona made an official statement confirming the move which they will wait until on Monday to unveil the player to the fans.
Ferran Torres raise was a smooth one which saw him quickly become one of the deadliest forward in Spain before he was signed by Manchester City.
His move to England saw him develop quickly hitting the ground running with goals for the Premier League Champions who used him regularly.
Unfortunately, he started dropping down the picking order which was also due to injury before losing his place in the team.
Ferran Torres still remained one of the best player in Manchester City despite getting fewer playing time with the club.
He got tired of how things were and requested to make a move elsewhere which saw Barcelona came knocking with new manager Xavi Hernandez.
Both clubs opened talks which eventually led to them reaching an agreement after the player accepted Barcelona personal terms.
Medical was recently completed and he is now a Barcelona player until 2027 with a release clause of 1B after he signed his contract.
