The German was appointed Manchester United interim manager yesterday and he has been working to get his visa work permit done before their game on Thursday.

Michael Carrick is still handling things until Rangnick sort out his issues which will then see him take over fully until end of the season.

Ralf Rangnick may have only been appointed by Manchester United on an interim basis.

According to Express Sport claims he will be given money to spend in January despite him being on the job on a temporary basis.

The experienced German tactician is set to see the Red Devils through to the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

He will be given an opportunity over the winter to put his stamp on a squad inherited from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was sent packing.

It is also reported that Mauricio Pochettino could be the man who takes over next season with Paris Saint Germain blocking every attempts to let him go.

The Red Devils might see their manager take over his first game against Arsenal which will be played on Thursday.

Michael Carrick did have a good time while being in charge of Manchester United which saw them beat Villarreal 0-2 away from home.

They played out a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in the English Premier League which was also away from Stamford Bridge.
