Manchester United sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasn’t an easy decision which saw them paying huge, MySportDab reports.
The Norwegian was dismissed as Manchester United manager after failing to make things happen.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started off the season fine, but along the way he was unable to keep up with producing good results.
Manchester United had to let him go after their thrashing in the hands of Watford during the weekend Premier League games.
The decision wasn’t that easy as the Norwegian bagged a huge fee before leaving the Old Trafford club.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed Man United paid Solskjaer €7.7 million compensation fee before he was sacked.
They are currently on the search for a replacement as quickly as possible with their next game against Chelsea fast approaching in the Premier League.
Fletcher is currently taking over things as an interim until a new man is appointed to take over on permanent basis.
Mauricio Pochettino is being dubbed as the favorite to land the job despite being committed to Paris Saint Germain.
Other names are also mentioned including former Real Madrid manager Zidane who was reportedly rumored to have turned down the job.
Manchester United are working non-stop on making sure they reach an agreement to sign any available top candidate.
They could have to wait until the January window before making any move as their targets are currently committed to other clubs.
