It hasn’t been a good one got the Manchester United winger who has been loaned to different clubs since making his way through the Academy system.

Tanith Chong

Last season he spent time on loan in Germany before making a return which he was still loaned out once again by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Manchester United’s winger Tahith Chong has impressed on loan with Birmingham in the Championship this season, but has been sent back after sustaining groin injury.

It was announced by the club in the summer that the youngster would join Birmingham City on loan this term to accelerate his development after just returning from a spell elsewhere.

The player has been unable to establish himself in the Manchester United starting team as the manager didn’t see him well developed enough to command a spot.

Tahith Chong has made 13 appearances for Lee Bowyer’s side in this season which he has been praised for playing different roles for Birmingham City.

But he’s now sustained a groin injury in training, which is set to rule him out for most of the campaign and he will return to Manchester United to begin his rehabilitation.

This is a big blow both on the player and club as he development will be put on pause while he recovers before anything else can be discussed.

Tanith Chong has showed such quality to prove that he could turn out to be one of the best in the future which is why the club have been sending him out to develop more.
