Manchester United’s list of potential candidates to replace Sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now been leaked online, MySportDab reports.

Solskjaer was sacked today by Manchester United after the 4-1 by Watford on Saturday.

The Norwegian has failed to deal with the big egos within his squad for the new season and results have been horrible in recent weeks.

With Solskjaer sacked, there have been rumours about who might be appointed to replace Solskjaer.

However, MySportDab has now identified a list of potential candidates for the job at Old Trafford.

Former Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane is the clear favourite for the job, but others like Brendan Rodgers, and Erik ten Hag are contenders for the job.

Manchester United Next Coach

1.Zinedine Zidane

Zidane Man Utd

Zidane has only taken charge of one managerial post till date but he has achieved so much success already.

His three successive Champions League wins, and two league titles with Real Madrid show that he is a true man capable of doing the job.

Manchester United have very little chance of winning the Champions League right now but a big coach like Zidane could spark things back to life.

Zidane has a great relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane from their time together at the Bernabeu.

The Frenchman is even regularly seen playing with his players during training and putting crosses into the box from time to time.

United’s current squad is a dream of options for any coach but Zidane is not in a rush to return back to management.

At Real Madrid, Zidane developed created a good chemistry amongst the players despite the presence of plenty of egos.

2. Brendan Rodgers

Brendan Rodgers Manchester United

Rodgers is one of the most underrated managers in the Premier League.

At Liverpool, he almost won the Premier League title in 2014, but won numerous trophies in Scotland with Celtic.

He is currently doing a great job at Leicester.

The 48-year-old is a true genius of the game with his coaching methods and tactics.

He could be relied upon to keep the players interested on the training ground and forge a togetherness in the dressing room.

Over the last few years, Rodgers has taken Leicester close to qualifying for the Champions league.

Last season, Leicester City also won the FA Cup and added to their trophy cabinet.

If Rodgers can manage the high quality players at Manchester United, he could win them trophies after a long wait.

Also, he won’t demand for too many changes in the current squad.

3.Erik ten Hag

Erik Ten Hag Man Utd

Ten Hag is someone that has impressed despite not being in Europe’s top five biggest leagues.

The current Ajax coach is no doubt an intriguing candidate.

At Ajax, he won the Eredivisie twice and guided them to the Champions League semi-finals in 2019.

Ten Han’s style of play was obvious in Ajax’s recent 4-0 win against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League Group Stage match.

Whether he could take that style and apply it to United is another question entirely.

Ten Hag remains under contract at Ajax until 2023 but is likely to be an easier option compared to Rodgers or Zidane.

So which coach would be perfect for Manchester United?
