Manchester United have now agreed to appoint Coach Ralf Rangnick as the new interim boss until the end of the season, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last Sunday and have been working to get a replacement.

United have looked at several candidates such as Rudi Garcia, Ernesto Valverde, Lucien Favre, and Paulo Fonseca.

Now, According to Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are close to reach an agreement with Lomotiv Moscow to let Rangnick leave the Russian club and come to England.

The Red Devils have already reach an agreement with Rangnick but must now convince Lomotiv Moscow to let him leave his role as head of sports and development.

Ralf Rangnick

Rangnick has spoken to Manchester United chiefs Ed Woodward and John Murtough before they appointed Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.

He spoke to them again on Monday and is now United’s first choice if they can meet his demands about the job.

He first rejected the offer to take charge, but has now accepted new terms.

Rangnick has previously been linked with jobs at Chelsea and Everton in the Premier League.

Now, Lomotiv Moscow still have to agree to release Rangnick from his contract.

This is the only issue currently dealing the entire agreement from being completed.

Regarded is known in Germany as the ‘Godfather of German football’ after his coaching style modernised the game in his homeland.

He will be given a two-year consultancy role at Manchester United after his interim job ends in the summer.
