Jadon Sancho WARNED About Poor Manchester United Form (Details)

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has now been warned over his poor form at club level, MySportDab reports.

England Coach Gareth Southgate has made it clear that Jadon Sancho’s form must improve if he is to play for the national team again.

Sancho has endured a tough season so far and currently below form since his £73m transfer to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund.

The winger has not yet scored or provide an assist in his first 12 matches for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team so far.

But, he was still named in England’s last squad and provided two assists in the 5-0 win over Andorra.

However, Sancho and Jesse Lingard have now both missed out on England’s final squad for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

Southgate has admitted that he has to give those who are playing frequently for their club more opportunity.

However, he made it clear that Sancho must get into the Manchester United Starting XI before he can play for England again.

“We can always support but you can’t do that forever,” Southgate said.

“There is a point where you must say: ‘OK, now we must bring in other players that are playing regularly and can perform for us this time.’

“There is no point calling up players we are not sure if we can use them.”

A reporter said that Sancho has gotten to the top level of football quickly, and Southgate replied: “That is how people view a lot of our young lads today.

“But what top? These boys are still learning to be professionals.

“Jadon is adapting to a new environment, different team. So, They’re other young players making their way.”

Jadon Sancho could face his former club Manchester City on Saturday for Manchester United in the Premier League.
