The goal impressed United fans, and international team-mates on Twitter.
Jude Bellingham, Sancho’s former Borussia Dortmund team-mate posted the player’s initials on Twitter with a smiling face.
United were playing their first match since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as manager which came after the poor 4-1 defeat to Watford in the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal 12 minutes from the end before Sancho’s goal secured the 2-0 win for Manchester United.
