Ilkan Gundogan scored as Manchester City claimed a 2-1 win against West Ham United to go level on points with Chelsea who play later, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A good first half coming from both teams who created a fair amount of opportunities going forward with more coming from the home side who bossed the 45 minutes.
West Ham United were solid at the back as they did everything possible to make sure nothing went past them in the early stages of the first half of the encounter.
Manchester City continued doing everything possible to find an early breakthrough which didn’t happen as the match carried on hitting 30 minutes and counting.
The goal came in the 33rd minute of the first half through German International Ilkan Gundogan who finished off neatly to give his side a 1-0 lead as they continued pressing hard.
The first half didn’t provide much action as it ended with Manchester City taking a slim 1-0 advantage into the break against West Ham United after 45 minutes played between themselves.
Second Half Report
The second half was solid from the start as both teams were good covering their goalkeepers with all attempts falling to get past the defenders from both ends.
It was Manchester City who had everything going as planned for them while their opponent continue to hold them off with hopes of hitting on a counter to score the leveler.
Nothing happened as the game progressed further with more opportunities being created from both ends which resulted in nothing but wasted chances.
It was looking evenly matched and balanced between the two clubs who were able to deal with every situation coming which was coming against them as they approach final few minutes.
Fernandinho scored a late goal in the 90th minute plus added time which saw the scoreline increased to 2-0 for the Cityzens who were unstoppable.
Another late goals was canceled for the home side before Manuel Lanzini scored a stunner to make the scoreline 2-1 for the visiting team who got something for themselves.
The match ended with Manchester City getting a 2-1 win against West Ham United which moves them level on Premier League leader Chelsea.
