A brace from Ilkay Gundogan with one each from Kai Havertz and Jonas Hofmann ensured Germany beat Armenia 1-4, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was good coming from both ends which saw lots of opportunities created while play was very entertaining.
Armenia held off the Germans in the first 10 minutes of the game which didn’t see them making any serious attempts to score the opening goal.
Kai Havertz found the back of the net in the 15th minute of the first half to give Germany a 0-1 lead after an amazing display saw the Chelsea man making it count.
The match carried on with both teams pushing hard to make something happen while the visitors dominated things from their end.
Ilkay Gundogan scored from the penalty spot in the 45th minute plus additional time which increased the lead to 0-2 for Germany.
The first half came to an end with Armenia trailing by a 0-2 scoreline after the 45 minutes of football between them and their opponent.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t that bad as both teams found the back of the net within the 45 minutes played between them.
Germany increased their lead to 0-3 in the 50th minute of the second half thanks to Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan who made it his brace.
Mkhitaryan pulled one back for Armenia in the 59th minute which came from the penalty spot as the Roma player ensured he made the scoreline 1-3.
The game carried on with more opportunities coming through until Jonas Hofmann scored in the 64th minute of the game to make things 1-4 for the Germans.
Things looked good as it carried on without another goal until it came to an end with Armenia 1-4 Germany which sealed all three points for the visiting side after 90 minutes.
