Tottenham are keen on signing Mauro Icardi from Paris Saint Germain as Harry Kane could be leaving soon, MySportDab reports.

Spurs are currently having issues at the front as Harry Kane has been unable to stay consistent this season amid link from Manchester City.

Mauro Icardi has been eyed as the perfect replacement for Harry Kane who is struggling and might be leaving the club this January.

Argentine striker has seen his place taken away at Paris Saint Germain after the arrival of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.

The former Inter Milan forward is now open to a move elsewhere with the January window set to open in few months time.

Tottenham have identified Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi as a transfer target, according to reports coming through from Calcio Mercato.

Juventus are also keen on the 28-year-old, who has been tipped to leave Parc des Princes at the end of the season as his place in the starting lineup isn’t secured.

Spurs will hope to beat the Italian giants to Icardi’s signature, with the forward no longer a regular in the PSG starting XI after Lionel Messi arrival.

This could be the perfect replacement for Tottenham who could bring in the experience forward as Harry Kane replacement.

Although it would be a hard move for the Premier League side who are currently not in Champions League or Europa as they finished last campaign to qualify for Conference League.

This could be a problem for Spurs if they are going to make the move happen this January which Icardi won’t be looking to play Conference when he can get a better chance with other clubs.

The PSG isn’t the only target for Tottenham who are also looking at other players they could go for in case their main target fails to come through.
