Memphis Depay scored as Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw against Deportivo Alaves after Ronald Koeman sack, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It wasn’t so much fun in the first half as for Barca as both teams had so many opportunities but couldn’t make any of them count going forward.

Barcelona was dominant with the ball possession which they made sure is theirs for the taken as they continued to push for the opening goal which failed to happen.

Sergio Aguero was removed after going down in an incident in which the player was struggling to breathe before being attended to in the 41st minutes.

Deportivo Alaves were relieved a bit but the pressure continued on them, but they always had an answer to make sure nothing went past them.

The first half of the encounter ended with Barcelona 0-0 Deportivo Alaves which saw them both heading inside for the break without a goal.

Second Half Report

The second half was good as the goals came in from both ends with so many opportunities created by them going forward.

Memphis Depay gave Barcelona the lead in the 49th minute of the game after a nice buildup from play saw Jordi Alba making the assist as the scoreline turned 1-0.

Deportivo Alaves wasted no time in pulling themselves back into the match in the 52nd minute of the match which saw the scoreline turn 1-1 after a superb finish.

The match carried on without anything coming out as they approached the final stages which still no goal to separate them after the leveler.

The game came to an end with Barcelona 1-1 Deportivo Alaves as they both had to settle for one point each after the encounter finished with a draw after 90 minutes.
