Mohamed Salah new contract talks which was earlier reported to be as high as £500k a week has been rubbished, MySportDab reports.

With talks currently ongoing between the player and Liverpool, they are claims that he won’t be getting much as said in other reports.

Both parties are yet to reach an agreement for Mohamed Salah new contract which could take some time to finalize.

A deal is on the table as Liverpool are open to keeping the Egyptian player beyond his current contract signed with them.

The Liverpool ace is still in negotiations with club over a possible new deal that will see his salary increased.

Despite previous reports, it is stated that Salah is not asking for as much as £500,000 per week wages to remain with the club.

They are now working on their leading goalscorer for two seasons as they want to give him a new offer which will chase away suitors looking to make a move.

Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to Real Madrid after his first season scoring a huge amount of goals after his move from the Serie A.

The interest seems to be cooling down, but with the like of Paris Saint Germain set to loose Kylian Mbappe, they might be looking at the Liverpool man as a fix.
