Leicester City are in poll position to win the race for Jesse Lingard signature as a move looks likely to happen, MySportDab reports.

With the forward already preparing for life elsewhere as he won’t be getting much playing time in a star studded United team.

Jesse Lingard could be heading to Leicester City with them leading the race for his signature when the transfer window opens.

West Ham United are also not backing out with a move also favoring them after the player spent time on loan last season.

There are also reports of Arsenal and Aston Villa also lurking around with their eyes on the forward situation.

Leicester City have become a leading contender to sign Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, with claim coming from Fichajes.

Jesse Lingard was widely expected to leave Old Trafford in the summer, but stayed to fight for his place and scored in the 4-1 win over Newcastle at the weekend same game Ronaldo made his debut.

Several clubs are still keen on the England international, with Leicester aiming to bring in the 28-year-old next summer.

The forward once played for the Foxes during the 2012-13 season where he stayed with them on loan move which he made his senior debut as a professional making five appearance.

No offers have been made yet but it could be happening when the winter window opens in January as they will be hoping to secure a move for the player.

Manchester United could also be looking to cash out on him now that he is being wanted by many clubs before his value goes down.

His time at Old Trafford looked to be coming to an end last season before he forced a loan move to West Ham United where he was able to pick up form.

His performance earned him a place back on the National team after being left out for so many years due to his poor run of form and lack of regular playing time.
