Cristiano Ronaldo has now arrived safely in England after his transfer to Manchester United was confirmed last week, MySportDab reports.
Ronaldo will now play at Old Trafford again after his £19.8million transfer from Juventus was completed on transfer deadline day.
According to The Sun, Ronaldo landed with his private jet at Manchester Airport on Thursday at 5.40pm.
He was immediately taken to a multi-million pound mansion in Manchester.
Ronaldo will now be able to relax in his new mansion during his quarantine for five days before resuming training.
After his five days Quarantine, Ronaldo is expected to join United’s training session on Wednesday.
Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez shared some pictures on her Instagram account of the family travelling by jet.
One day ago, Ronaldo was busy setting new records while on international duty with Portugal.
He scored two late goals in the 89th and 95th minutes to help Portugal defeat Ireland 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.
The brace saw him move past Ali Daei and become the highest men’s international goalscorer of all time.
However, he received a yellow card during the match and was ruled out of Portugal’s next Qualifier next Tuesday.
Ronaldo’s former team-mate, Darren Fletcher, United officials and a security team welcomed him and his family at the airport.
The Portuguese is likely to start training with his new teammates at Carrington next week under Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
