United have made their intent clear so far in the transfer market as they aim to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

United last won the Premier League title back in 2013.

The Red Devils have so far signed Jadon Sancho for £73m, and Raphael Varane for £42m, a total of £115m spent.

However, due to the financial effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, Manchester United must now sell some players to recoup some funds.

Paul Pogba leaving is the highest chance Manchester United have for a major sale, if Paul joins Paris Saint-Germain.

However, there are other first team players that are currently available for sale at Manchester United.

Six Manchester United Players For Sale

Phil Jones

Phil Jones is one of the players Manchester United want to sell but he has not attracted any interest so far.

His last match for United was against Tranmere in the FA Cup on January 26, 2020.

United currently have four centre backs that are expected to play a role in the Premier League next season, but Jones is not included.

With his contract set to expire in two years, United are desperate to sell the defender before the transfer window closes.

Brandon Williams

Williams enjoyed a breakthrough season from the Manchester United academy in 2019/20, and got ahead of Luke Shaw in the pecking order.

However, Shaw has regain his form last season for Manchester United and also won the Player of the Year award.

With Shaw back as first choice, Williams has struggled for game time.

The youngster still has three years left on his current contract, and could leave on a loan deal.

Jesse Lingard

The 28-year-old looks set to finally leave his boyhood club this summer should Manchester United get a good offer.

Last season, Lingard barely played for Manchester United across all competitions.

In January, the midfielder joined West Ham on loan and impressed at the English club.

Lingard could remain at Manchester United for next season or be sold for the right amount now.

Andreas Pereira

The Brazilian’s shocking goal in the friendly match against Brentford, showed fans what he can do.

However, there is currently no space for Pereira in the Manchester United squad for next season.

He was on loan at Lazio last season, and played regularly as Simone Inzaghi’s men finished sixth in the Serie A.

The 25-year-old is determined to find a new club where he can play more frequently.

Selling Pereira could give Manchester United around £25m.

Axel Tuanzebe

Tuanzebe is currently behind the likes of Maguire, Bailly, and new signing Varane in the pecking order at United.

He struggled to impress in the friendly match against QPR and at 23 years old, Tuanzebe wants regular football.

Newcastle have been linked with a bid for Tuanzebe, but Aston Villa appear to be also interested in the defender.

However, both clubs are only interested in signing Tuanzebe on loan for next season.

Diogo Dalot

So many fans have forgot Dalot is still a United Manchester player.

He played only four times for Manchester United over the last two Premier League seasons.

The Portuguese right back impressed last season on loan at AC Milan as Stefano Pioli’s men finished 2nd in Serie A.

It’s clear that Solskjaer does not see Dalot as part of his plans for next season.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains first choice for Solskjaer ahead of the new season.

Dalot could be sold this summer if there is a good offer for Manchester United to consider.
