The Rivalry between the two side kicked off with the Citizens making sure the first half was all about them in terms of goals scored and chances created.

It took Man City 7 minutes to break down their opponent as Ilkay Gundogan scored the opener after teaming up with Gabriel Jesus that made the scoreline 1-0 for the Etihad side.

Arsenal were very good despite going down as they dominated ball possession moving forward but unfortunately conceded another goal in the 12th minute through Ferran Torres who made it 2-0.

Things got worse for Mikel Arteta’s side as Xhaka was shown a red card in the 35th minute of the encounter after a foul which saw them reduced to 10.

Second Half Report

The earlier minutes of the second half were evenly balanced despite the visitors having one man down for them to double everything they had to do on the pitch of play.

It was looking all easy for the home side as Arsenal still looked not so good with Rodri scoring in the 53rd minute with the assistance coming from Ferran Torres which made it 4-0.

Man City wasn’t done as they continued to press very hard against the Gunners that looked weak and fighting to ensure the scoreline doesn’t increase more as they entered 60 minutes.

Everything looking done already for the Blues who had to just toss the ball around to kill off time with four goals scored already and nothing they could do to further the embarrassment.
