Borussia Dortmund beat Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2 as Erling Haaland scored twice and made two assists in the German Bundesliga, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams found the back of the net in the first half which wasn’t bad coming from them as the goals were surplus from them.
The game started slowly as both sides took time to make sure they understand each other very well before making a move against themselves.
Marco Reus scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute of the match as the German was assisted by Erling Haaland who made it 1-0 with a good finishing for Borussia Dortmund.
Eintracht Frankfurt responded in the 27th minute with an own goal coming from Felix Passlack after an error forced him to put the ball inside his net to make the scoreline 1-1.
Thorgan Hazard made it 2-1 in the 32nd minute with a clever goal which was assisted by Erling Haaland as BVB restored their lead the way it was.
Erling Haaland finally made it count in the 34th minute as the youngster scored a wicked goal which saw the lead increasing to 3-1 thanks to the outstanding finish.
Marco Reus scored another one in the 40th minute of the match but it was ruled out by VAR after they checked.
The first half of the game ended with Borussia Dortmund 3-1 Eintracht Frankfurt as they both headed for the break with the home side taking the much-needed advantage.
Second Half ReportÂ
Another good half as BVB continued from where they left it off in the first 45 minutes which saw them scoring for fun as the encounter carried on.
Eintracht Frankfurt held on as the game got busy with the pressure turning on them once again which saw them doing well early.
Giovanni Reyna scored one in the 58th minute of the second half to give Borussia Dortmund a 4-1 lead with more opportunities still coming.
Erling Haaland made it his brace in the 70th minute as the scoreline turned 5-1 before Hauge pulled another one back in the 86th minute to make it 5-2.
The match ended with Borussia Dortmund 5-2 Eintracht Frankfurt as BVB claimed a good win in their season opener in the German Bundesliga.
