Guianluigi Donnarumma

Paris Saint-Germain now has eight goalkeepers in the first team and is preparing to make several transfers, MySportDab reports.

Gianluigi Donnarumma joined Paris officially on Wednesday night after Italy won the Euro 2020 tournament.

The agreement between the two sides concerns the next five seasons, with Donnarumma receiving 12,000.000 euros for each of them.

Now, the Parisians in the first team have eight goalkeepers.

In addition to Donnarumma, there are Kaylor Navas, Alphonse Areola, Sergio Rico, Alexandre Letellier, 21-year-old Marcin Bulka, Garissone Innocent, and 18-year-old Denis Franchi.

However, of course, Paris will make several sales or releases.

Goalkeeper Areola is likely to leave for West Ham, with the international media reporting that the two sides are very close to an agreement. In addition, according to Parisien, Sergio Rico has asked to leave the team.

As for the rest, third place seems to be won by Letellier, who recently signed a contract extension. In addition, Innocent will leave on loan, while the same will happen with Bulka and Franchi.

The big question concerns Kaylor Navas is whether he will accept the role of substitute goalkeeper after so many successes in his career as a key player in Real and Paris.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper has already appeared enigmatic on social media, and only time will tell.

Donnarumma

New signing Donnarumma started his career with AC Milan in 2015. He holds the record of being the second-youngest goalkeeper ever to play in Serie A at 16 years and 242 days old.

He later became the main goalkeeper of the team and one of the most promising young goalkeepers in the world.

Alphonse Areola is from the academies of PSG and spent the first years of his professional career on loan in Lens, Bastia, and Villarreal.

Areola set a new club record for the most matches played without conceding a goal at 620 minutes.

He has played over 100 matches for PSG since he returned to the club in 2016. In 2019, Areola joined Real Madrid on loan as part of the transfer of Kaylor Navas to PSG.

Areola was a member of the team that won the 2018 World Cup in Russia with France.

Keylor Navas

Keylor Navas played in Saprissa as the main goalkeeper, and during his stay, he won seven titles, including six championships.

In July 2010, Navas signed a contract with the Spanish Albacete. He played in all but six games, but his team finished last.

The following season, Navas played in La Liga, on loan at Levante. He then got a permanent transfer, and after another season as a substitute in 2013-2014, he became a key player.

On August 3rd, 2014, Real Madrid announced the acquisition of Navas, paying the clause of 10 million euros.

He signed a 6-year contract with his new team. In September 2019, he became a player of Paris Saint-Germain.

Rico has played for Sevilla FC since his youth. On February 20th, 2011, he came for the first time for the second team in the 5-1 win against AD Ceuta in the third-class Segunda División B to use.

Rico has been a member of the professional squad since the 2011/12 season. He made his debut in the Primera División on September 14th, 2014, in a 2-0 home win against Getafe FC.

In the Europa League, he played three group games in the 2014/15 season and played all of the knockout round matches that he played with Sevilla on May 27th, 2015, after the 3-2 final win against FK Dnipro, as in the previous year won.

With the win, the team qualified for the Champions League.

In the 2015/16 season, he played 34 league games and won the Europa League for the third time in a row with Sevilla, after failing third in the Champions League.

For the 2018/19 season, Rico joined Fulham in the Premier League until the end of the season. He played the 2019/20 season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain.

For France, he played ten matches and won the national championship, the cup, and the league cup.

In addition, he reached the final of the Champions League with the team but lost there 0-1 to FC Bayern Munich.

For the 2020/21 season, PSG acquired the transfer rights to Rico, who signed a new contract until June 30th, 2024.

Paris Saint-Germain’s next games are on July 21st against Augsburg and July 24th against Genoa.

Bulka

Bułka started his career in his native Poland. In the 2018/19 season, he was on the bench three times in first-team games.

In July 2019, Bułka signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain after his contract with Chelsea expired, and on August 30th, 2019, Bułka made his debut for PSG, not conceding a 2-0 win over FC Metz.

At the end of September 2020, Marcin Bułka extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 30th, 2025, and moved to the Spanish second division FC Cartagena on loan until the 2020/21 season ended.

Letellier started playing in Paris Saint-Germain in 2009 at the age of 18. He briefly played with other teams. In 2018 and 2019, they joined BSC Young Boys, ES Troyes AC, and Sarpsborg 08 FF for a short time each.

In January 2020, he moved to US Orléans on a free transfer, followed by a move back to Paris Saint-Germain in September.

Innocent began his football training at the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy. In May 2018, he received a professional contract with PSG until 2021.

In the 2018/19 season, he made three appearances for the second team in National 2 and five games in the UEFA Youth League with the U19s.

In the 2019/20 season, he won all three national titles with the professionals in France and made it to the final of the Champions League.

However, Innocent was only in the Champions League and Ligue 1 in the matchday squads. For the entire 2020/21 season, he joined the second division club, SM Caen.

He made his professional debut for Caen in a 3-2 away win against USL Dunkerque. In a league game against FC Chambly, Innocent collapsed due to a heart attack on the field.

In the hospital, his condition got stable, but he still had problems speaking and breathing. Overall, he came to Caen for three league appearances.

18-year-old Denis Franchi joined Paris Saint-Germain this year. He played in the under-19 football team in 2019.
