Manchester United players available have now returned back for the start of pre-season training today, MySportDab reports.

The 2020 Euros and Copa America may be at the semi-final but Manchester United won’t let that stop their preparations for next season.

Youngster Mason Greenwood was part of the squad to take part in the training session after he withdrawed from England’s Euro 2020 team.

The 19-year-old had been affected by a niggling injury and it was decided that he should leave the national team and get better this summer.

The decision to withdraw from England has paid off as he was present for the start of United’s preparations for 2021-22 season on Monday.

First-team squad member Nemanja Matic was also present at the training session.

Alex Telles was also present at the training session and will try to use this month to steal the left back spot.

United’s first choice left-back Luke Shaw is currently away with England’s national team at Euro 2020.

Academy duo Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe took part in the training session and are hoping for more playing time next season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United have only signed one player so far this window and that is goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

The Red Devils has also signed Jadon Sancho in a £73m deal from Borussia Dortmund but he has not undergone a medical and signed his contract.

New Goalkeeper Tom Heaton was present for his first training session at United.

The former Aston Villa player was in good spirits upon his return to Manchester United where he started his professional career.
