First Half Report

An evenly balanced first half from both Nations was filled with so many opportunities and none could be converted into something good.

Italy Spain

Spain was the better side who dominated proceedings with them outplaying their opponent who couldn’t get free space to carry out their operations.

Italy had some moments of theirs which they couldn’t make good use of it as the ball barely touched their feet all through the 45 minutes.

The game progressed with more opportunities being wasted as they couldn’t find a breakthrough with them entering into the additional minutes.

The first half ended with Italy 1-1 Spain as they both headed for the break with both sides settling for a draw scoreline.

Second Half Report

The second half started with so much promises from the two teams who had so much firepower going forward as the opportunities kept coming.

Italy finally broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, thanks to Federico Chiesa who smashed one home for the Italians to make it 1-0 in their favor.

Spain pushed back with everything they have before substitute, Alvaro Morata came in and scored the leveler 1-1 in the 80th minute of the game.

The game carried on without a goal as the 90 minutes ended with Italy 1-1 Spain which saw them both headed for extra time as they couldn’t get a winner.

Extra Time Report

Both teams had everything to play for as they kicked off extra time with more pace after some few substitutions were made by both National team coaches.

The match progresses with good display from both ends which unfortunately couldn’t result in anything as the first half of extra time ended with same 1-1.

More coming in the second half extra time with the away side dominating play as Pedri distributed an accuracy pass of 100% all through.

Italy Spain

No goal to report with them deciding to settle things from the penalty spot after a draw 120 minutes played between them.

The penalties started badly for both sides as Italy later came out tops by beating Spain 4-2 with Jorginho converting the last spot kick of the encounter.
