Borussia Dortmund has now confirmed Jadon Sancho’s £73m transfer to Manchester United this summer, MySportDab reports.

Borussia Dortmund are furious at the low transfer fee agreed and revealed it was the player’s desire to leave.

The German Bundesliga club confirmed Sancho’s transfer in a statement to the stock market on Thursday morning.

A few hours later on Thursday, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke spoke at his press conference and confirmed the transfer.

CEO Watzke revealed that an agreement is in place for Jadon Sancho to leave, but Dortmund were unhappy with the fee agreed for the player.

‘There is an agreement already,’ he told the press.

‘The medical tests are still pending. This is at Jadon’s request.

‘We wanted to keep him. But it makes a difference whether someone communicates this well or goes on strike with a riot. We are sad that he wants to leave.’

New Borussia Dortmund Coach Rose, said: ‘Jadon’s qualities were unpredictable. Every coach wants to have a player like Jadon Sancho.

‘We knew that Jadon is likely to not be here for next season. We’ll try to find creative solutions to replace him. We see opportunities in certain positions.’

Borussia Dortmund became the first publicly-traded football club in Germany in 2000, which means they must update their shareholders about everything at the club.
