Belgium and Portugal face off tonight in the most anticipated EURO 2020 Last-16 match, MySportDab reports.

The no.1 ranked country in the world, Belgium take on the EUROS Reigning Champions Portugal  at the Estadio La Cartuja in Seville.

Portugal have scored seven goals in their last three matches, while conceding six goals in the process.

Portugal’s matches against both France and Germany have been one of the most entertaining matches of the competition.

Belgium have scored in each of their last 33 matches and always scored at least twice in nine of their last 12 games.

Team News

Belgium started the Euro 2020 tournament with doubts over Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard.

However, both De Bruyne and Hazard started the final group match against Finland and should be available against Portugal.

Belgium Coach Roberto Martínez said: “We are motivated. There’s so much excitement and energy amongst the players. Portugal are a team that adapt quickly.”

For Portugal, Nelson Semedo is unlikely to play against Belgium after he limped off in the 2-2 draw against France on Wednesday evening.

The Wolves full-back has a low possibility of being fit in time for tonight’s match.

Also, Nuno Mendes remains an injury doubt for Portugal.

Portugal Coach Fernando Santos said: “Belgium score goals and barely struggle. There have top who are more influential, but they won’t try to man-mark. This is like a final; it’s for winning, not for fun. We know they are good opponents. I am convinced that we will be better.”

Match Facts:-

This is going to be the first ever major tournament match between Belgium and Portugal.

Portugal remain unbeaten in their last five international games against Belgium across all competitions since a 3-0 defeat in September 1989.

Belgium have only failed to score twice in their last 58 matches under Roberto Martínez, scoring at least three goals per game in most fixtures.

Portugal Star Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the top-scoring European footballer at any major tournaments (World Cup & Euros).
