Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hoejbjerg both scored as Tottenham beat Wolves 2-0 to move into 6th position on the league table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
One late goal ensured the first half of the encounter wasn’t that bad from the two teams who had so much opportunities in front of goal.
Wolves maintained momentum in the early stages of the encounter which saw them being pressured by their opponent who were in control.
Tottenham couldn’t finish off most of their chances created which also saw them almost going down but were able to save themselves from conceding.
The deadlock was finally broke in the 45th minute with Harry Kane scoring the opening goal to make it 1-0 thanks to assistance coming from Pierre-Emile Hoejbjerg.
The first half of the encounter ended with Tottenham 1-0 Wolves as they both headed for the break with the advantage over to the home team.
Second Half Report
It was more eventful in the second half of the encounter which both sides were brilliant but only the home team could make it count going forward.
Tottenham were okay to kick the ball around and make sure they don’t concede anything as the lead was their only inspiration to push forward.
Wolves were poor in defending and they paid for it when Pierre-Emile Hoejbjerg made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute of the encounter.
More opportunities being created by both teams who couldn’t change the scoreline despite everything done going forward in the last few minutes of regular play.
The encounter ended with Tottenham 2-0 Wolves as Spurs claimed a crucial victory and massive three points to move up to 6th on the League table.
