Late goal from Phil Foden helped Man City beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was amazing from the two teams but only the home side could make things happened as they scored once.

Second Half Report

The second half of the encounter started with lots of pace coming from the two teams who looked lively in the early stages of the 45 minutes.

Borussia Dortmund was second best in the game as they couldn’t find a way back into the game with few opportunities being created.

Man City enjoyed dominating play while they kill away time to make sure their opponent couldn’t find a way back into the game at hand.

Marco Reus leveled things for BVB after scoring an outstanding goal in the 84th minute to make it 1-1, thanks to assistance coming from Erling Haaland.

Phil Foden scored a late goal to make it 2-1 in the 90th minute which restored the Premier League side lead heading into the last few minutes of the game.

The match finally ended with Man City 2-1 Borussia Dortmund as Pep Guardiola’s scrapped a slim first leg advantage in the UEFA Champions League.
