FT: Man City 4-1 Wolves, Gabriel Jesus Bags BRACE! (Match Report And Highlight)

A brace from Gabriel Jesus coupled an own goal from Dendoncker and one from Mahrez helped Man City beat Wolves 4-1 in the English Premier League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report 

The first half of the encounter was evenly matched between the two sides who had equal chances to take the lead which went to the home side.

Man City took the lead in the 15th minute after pressure from them saw the away side conceding an own goal which came off Dendoncker to make it 1-0.

Wolves did manage to push forward created trouble but all their efforts proved abortive as no goal came for them until Aymeric Laporte scored which VAR ruled out.

The first half ended with Man City 1-0 Wolves as they both headed for the break with Pep Guardiola’s side taking the advantage.

Second Half Report

The second half provided some spice and flair as the tempo increased with lots of opportunities in the early stages of the 45 minutes.

Wolves pulled level in the 61st minutes from an outstanding goal which came through Connor Coady to level things up 1-1 but it didn’t last long as Gabriel Jesus made it 2-1 in the 80th minute.

Man City Wolves

The game progressed with Man City extending the lead to 3-1 thanks to Riyad Mahrez in the 90th minute before Gabriel Jesus scored his brace to make it 4-1 late in the game.

The match ended with Man City 4-1 Wolves as the Citizens claimed another win which pushes them closer to the League title.
