Goals from Ousmane Dembele alongside one each from Pique and Martin Braithwaite ensured Barcelona reach Copa del Rey final with a 3-2 aggregate against Sevilla, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an entertaining first half of the game which saw some good display of attacking football coming from the home side who scored one.
Sevilla couldn’t hold on to the game as Ousmane Dembele scored an outstanding goal which came in the 12th minute of the game that made it 1-0.
Barcelona continued to dominate the half after taking the much needed lead in the Copa Del Rey Cup which they continued to control to match.
The first half of the encounter ended with Barcelona 1-0 Sevilla as they both headed for the break with an advantage Barca.
Second Half Report
The second half of the match wasn’t far different from the first 45 minutes as it was the home side who looked better in the early stages.
Lucas Ocampos missed the opportunity of putting Sevilla level in the game after a penalty was awarded which he stepped up and sadly couldn’t make it count.
Barcelona increased their lead to 2-0 late before the referee signaled for end of 90 minutes which came off Gerrard Pique as they both headed for extra time.
Extra Time Report
The game progressed to extra time which wasn’t a good one for Sevilla who already had one man sent off before the end of 90 minutes.
Martin Braithwaite increased Barcelona lead to 3-0 in the 95th minute of the game as they continued to dominate the encounter.
Luuk de Jong was also sent off for the away side in the 103rd minutes after another foul once again as they were reduced to 9 men.
The match ended with Barcelona 3-0 Sevilla as Ronald Koeman side advanced into the final of the Copa del Rey with a 3-2 aggregate win.
