Marcus Rashford alongside Bruno Fernandes and Daniel James scored as Man United beat Newcastle 3-1 to remain second on the league table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half encounter was evenly matched with lots of talking points from both sides who found the back of the net.
Man United opened the goal scoring in the 30th minute as Marcus Rashford teamed up with Harry Maguire to make the scoreline 1-0.
Newcastle didn’t take long to pull level 1-1 in the 36th minute thanks to Saint-Maximin who was able to make things happen.
The first half ended with Man United 1-1 Newcastle as they both headed for the break with a draw scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half was all about the Red Devils who dominated the game and scored two more goals before the final whistle.
Newcastle failed to keep their defense in check as Daniel James scored in the 47th minute to give his side the lead 2-1.
Man United wasn’t done yet as Bruno Fernandes made it 3-1 after scoring from the penalty spot which came as a result of an error from the away side.
The match ended with Man United 3-1 Newcastle as the home team claimed another victory to remain second on the league table.
