Two goals from Robert Lewandowski ensured Bayern Munich beat Al Ahly 2-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup semi final, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was all about the away side in the encounter as they controlled the game and managed to score one goal.
Bayern Munich opened the goal scoring as early as the 17th minute which saw Robert Lewandowski making it count with a brilliant goal to make it 1-0.
Al Ahly couldn’t make anything happen as they were the side dealing with more pressure than their opponent as the game progressed.
The first half ended with Al Ahly 0-1 Bayern Munich as they both headed for the break with advantage to the away side.
Second Half Report
The second half was the same as the first 45 minutes as one goal was recorded from an entertaining encounter.
Al Ahly did well by making sure they closed up their defence very tight and not went pass them as the second 45 minutes progressed.
Bayern Munich managed to get the second goal in the 86th minute thanks to Robert Lewandowski once again to make it 2-0.
The match ended with Al Ahly 0-2 Bayern Munich as they advanced to the final of the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup.
